January ocean stripers

January; OBX

Each winter Spec Fever Guide Service fishes the Outer Banks for giant ocean striped bass. These large fish move down the coast and winter off of NC and January is the peak time to target them. Fishing from my center console, I offer up to 3 anglers full and long half day trips. We will be fishing from Oregon Inlet and clients should stay in the Nags Head and Manteo areas. As always if I can help arrange you trip just let me know.

Cape Lookout

If the winter is cold enough stripers move down to Cape Lookout. If possible I will run trips here but things need to be just right. We will often find false albacore in the same areas.
I will post fishing reports if the stripers have may it this far south.
