The Neuse River and Pamlico Sound offer some fine "speck" fishing eavery fall. Light tackle artifical and fly fishing are both very productive. Trout are often found in the same areas taking the same baits and lures that reds, flounder and a few others are.
Redfish
Redfishing is excellent here in the fall. At this time of the year 1 to 20 pound fish can be found in the shallows of the sound, river and creeks of the Neuse. Come on lets go "puppy drumin'"!

We catch flounder, gray trout, black drum, bluefish and a variety of other gamefish in the same areas as our featured gamefish...you never know!
