Spec Fever Fishing Guide Service:
“Spec Fever” is a shallow water and near coastal fishing guide service owned and operated by Captain Gary Dubiel.  Join Captain Gary for any or all of these great fishing trips and locations.

Oriental, NC:
Fishing the Pamlico Sound, Neuse River and it’s tributaries from March through January for  redfish, speckled seatrout, flounder, striped bass, tarpon, giant red drum, black drum and weakfish.

New Bern, NC:
Fish from New Bern for redfish, stripers, seatrout, largemouth bass, shad and catfish.  The cypress lined shores of the Neuse and the Trent River can offer excellent fishing through much of the year.

Morehead City/ Beaufort/ Crystal Coast:
Charters are available for summer cobia, dolphin, king and Spanish mackerel, bluefish, jacks, bonito and flounder or try a fall trip for false albacore.  Shallow water redfish and family bottom fishing and trolling trips available as well.

Roanoke River, Weldon, NC:
Late April and early May are the prime time for this famed striper run on the Roanoke.  Get in on this hot action!

Outer Banks:
Fishing out of Oregon Inlet each January for giant ocean striper.

Captain Gary Dubiel:
USCG licensed and insured, Captain Gary has filmed for ESPN, OLN, UNC-TV (PBS), and Discovery Channel Europe. He has written for several magazine and lectures internationally to fisherman.  He has become a regular with the Salt Water Sportsman National Seminar Series and appears at many fishing clubs and shows as a speaker.  He is a fly casting instructor and master fly tyer.  His original fly patterns have appeared in many books and magazines.
