The striper bite was red hot on the Neuse River! It was a cold start after a couple of fronts but the fish didn't mind. Landed 35 stripers then went up river and beat up on the shad for a couple hours.
We've had more incredible fishing this week! We catching speckled trout redfish and stripers fishing out of Oriental. The weather is great and the fishing is fantastic!
fishing reports for the Neuse River, Pamlico Sound, New Bern, Oriental and the Crystal Coast of North Carolina
The fishing has been outstanding for both speckled trout and striped bass. We are doing best for specks from Oriental and stripers from New Bern. The weather has really improved and fishing should stay dynamite for a while!
